A little bit about me.

I am a Chartered Child and Educational Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS), Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) and a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at University College London followed by a Masters at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust and finally my Doctorate in Child, Educational and Community Psychology at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust.

I have over 10 years experience of working with children, young people and teachers in various settings within local authorities, Child Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and independently.

I specialise in working with children, young people, families and teachers both in London and in Lisbon, Portugal.

Therapeutic models I work with include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Family Consultancy

I am Accredited Video Interaction Guidance practitioner, this is an intervention to develop and improve a parent-child relationship. For more information on this, please

Finally, I was brought up as a bilingual child, speaking both Portuguese and English. I am familiar with the unique experiences bilingual and Third Culture children face, as well as being curious to connect with these experiences with the families I work with.
