Children & Adolescents

 
  • Individual assessment concerning learning, cognitive or social, emotional needs.

  • Therapeutic based 1-1 sessions drawing upon a range of therapy models including; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused principles and Mindfulness.

  • Group interventions for pupils in schools or after-school settings such as mindfulness teaching and emotional regulation skills teaching.

  • Classroom interventions to support learning and teaching such as Circle of Friends and Sociometric assessments.

Training

Bespoke training, workshops & supervision on a number of areas of child development and approaches to teaching & learning including:

 
  • Supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Dyslexia, Autism & ADHD.

  • Understanding Attachment Theory and what this means in the classroom context.

  • Exam/test anxiety

  • Covid-19 pandemic related issues.

  • Teacher professional development through Video Enhanced Reflective Practice (VERP).

Consultancy & Research

 
  • Consultation and development of Whole School Policies such as on SEN, Bereavement & Mental Health.

  • Individual or group supervision for Senior Management Team.

  • Individual supervision for teachers with responsibility for supporting children with emotional well-being needs.

  • Action Research projects.
